Hi, I’m Tim

Journalist and multimedia creator

Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the power of storytelling. Growing up, I’ve always been captivated by the ways visuals and sound could bring stories to life, and was eager to challenge myself in sharpening my multimedia skills in any medium I could. I soon married this creative drive with my fascination with politics and the world around me, eventually diving into the world of journalism. I especially adored the art of video and audio storytelling and relentlessly sought out more ambitious projects to further sharpen my skills, no matter the topic. I continue to carry that same drive and curiosity into my work today as a multimedia reporter with a particular interest in long-form audio journalism

I’m experienced in all steps taken in multimedia news reporting. This includes researching, writing, conducting interviews, capturing sound, and news photography — all to produce rich and compelling radio news stories.

I also have years’ worth of experience with using various programs in Adobe’s Creative Cloud Suite, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition and Photoshop. Using these tools, I’ve grown to be primarily skilled in audio editing and mixing, motion graphics animation, image manipulation and video editing. Additionally, I have minor experience in using Adobe Illustrator for work adjacent to graphic design.

I’m currently studying Magazine, News & Digital Journalism and Political Science in a dual-major program with a minor in Spanish at the S.I. Newhouse and Maxwell Schools of Syracuse University. I expect to graduate in Spring of 2027.
